Are pet fountains worth it?

My cat is not drinking much water even though I change her water daily and try to leave water in a couple spots. But whenever I turn on a faucet to wash my hands or the dishes she is right there. I will leave water in the sink for her to drink and fill her bowl in front of her but once she takes a couple laps thats it.
I got a cheap pet fountain from Petco and she doesn’t seem to like it and a more expensive one will only be a waste. But is there a difference? Is there a better fountain out there she might actually use?

Kitten is about 4 months old and is on mostly dry food but I give her wet a coiuple times a week.

get a drinkwell. they are wonderful. if your cat still won’t drink you will have to go to feeding more wet food so your cat gets the hydration it needs, talk to your vet about other ways to get your cat to drink.
