Pet Carrier

Is it okay for my cat to stay temporarily in a pet carrier w/ a kitty litter pan at one end of the carrier?
She is an outdoor cat and not use to being inside. She is having surgery & being fixed tomorrow so I need to keep her confined in the house tonight and for several days while she recouperates. Letting her roam the house is not an option.
Kudos for getting her fixed! yes it is okay as long as you keep it cleaned. however do you have a bathroom that you can isolate her to after? even if it is for a few hours. They recover pretty quickly. you just need to keep an eye on her stitches
