Litter Tray

What’s the easiest way to make a litter tray to fit in my toilet?
I want to make a tray that holds cat litter that I can put in the toilet. I want the lip to fit the bowl underneath the seat so that the seat comes down on top of it. Anyone have any ideas on how to construct something like this?
I think you could get some heavy duty corrugated cardboard. Or glue 2 or 3 layers together so it is strong. Then cut a oval the same shape and size of the toilet opening. So now you have a flat stiff oval bottom for your tray. Now you will need the sides. You could use a strip of card board 2 or 3 inches wide/ high and long enough to go all the way around the oval base. this will form the sides. You may need to make this double thickness as well. Now use “duct tape” to tape it all together. Use a lot of tape and tape it up good covering all the cardboard surface.. Then use some stiff wire ,like a coat hanger ,2 pieces about 20 inches long each. And make 2 u shaped brackets that go under the tray ,up the outside of the tray, then bend outwards over the top of the toilet bowl. use some plastic sheeting/bags to cut and make tray liners out of.
