usually the last 30-20 mins is when everyone starts bidding like crazy on an item. so if u want to bid your 10.00 do it! if u win ull get it for that 10.00 if someone else bid a higher price for it then u wont have to pay the 10.00 so really u have nothing to lose. Also check with that sellers sale history and see what people had to say that abt person is always a good idea too so that way u know u can trust that person or not.
