Why do cat treats make the cats gain weight?
Me and my mom give my 2 cats, cat treats (Friskia’s cat treats) every night then we put them in the laundry room with all of there stuff like water food and toys. then we let them out in the morning. Why do they gain weight?
Cat treats are mainly junk food for cats. They are loaded with calories, so too many and you wind up with fat kitties.
Cats are most active at night, and in a confined small space, they don’t do much in the way of activity, so they don’t burn calories.
