How closely related are cats to jungle felines… tigers, etc.?
My kitty reminds me so much of a tigeress in the jungle. She walks slowly and acts like one of the ‘big cats’ on documentaries.. it’s really cool to watch her behavior 
Our domestic cats are very related to a wild cat that looks like a domestic! Through genetics they have decided that our little house kitties are directly related to them. They are called the African Wild Cat or Desert Cat. I supplied a link below for anyone interested in reading about it. Really is amazing! I can see the little Lion inside my cat too, it’s really cool!
