Do you use biodegradable waste bags for your dog or another pet?
In many countries it is the law to pick up after your dog, horse or another pet. It is part of being a responsible pet owner. Many pet owners separate pet waste from the bag or paper and flush it down the toilet. When using bio waste bag they can throw it in the backyard compost, where both items can decompose naturally or the waste and bag can be buried, where micro-organisms will quickly eat both.
Have you been using bio waste bags for your pet?
Generally, animal waste compost is not recommended to use as a fertilizer for growing fruits and vegetables because it might contain dangerous bacteria E. Coli, Salmonella and other pathogens.
Most of the people who compost pet waste use it for ornamentals.
When I’m walking my dog in an area where I have to clean up after him, yes, I use a bag that is degradable for it.
At home, it all goes into the flowerbeds anyway.
