Advantage Flea

will it hurt my cats if i give them a second dose of Advantage Flea Control?
on September 4th, i gave each of my kitties a dose of Advantage (once-a-month) as they were pretty badly infested with fleas. They had no side affects and for the last couple weeks they seemed better. however it is now the 20th of september.. just over 2 weeks and they seem to have a bunch of fleas again, and i mean a BUNCH.. so i want to give them the second dose already and was wondering if i do, will it harm my kitties?
Yes, probably kill them. You need to bathe them ( not in flea shampoo) and try to find the source of the infestation. If they are inside kittens, you will need to wash their bed and clean it with a flea spray. If they are outside it is a little harder to keep the fleas off them, but spray where they lay. Then reapply the advantage flea medicine after 1 month. You can keep them clean from fleas with a warm, shampoo bath until then.
