Has any one ever had a problem with bot fly’s with there cat or kitten?
i have a mother cat and her litter of 4 kitten’s rescued, one kitten had bot fly in it’s eye and that one went to a rescue group, the rest i am fostering now for another group, my first time fostering any thing for a group,the group is unresponcive when i call about this problem, what should i do find another rescue group i can’t afford to take them to the vet.
Try handing them a letter in writing. Most groups have a governing body that makes sure they provide assistance to foster parents. It is important that you find out who the boss of your organisation is and ask to speak to them. That person is the only person who will make something happen. Or you could try taking the kitten in and yelling at the top of your voice. I am positive someone will take notice. Anyway about the fly?maggot? if you havent already done so remove the fly. Bathe the eye with salty water until you get a second opinion. Good luck.
