What do you think of my Broomstick Sonnet?
Streamline wooden beam used to steer,
Guiding endlessly through the dark night,
Casts away all horror and fear
Just to be seen causes up most freight.
Cackling witch with a crooked nose,
Perched uopn its this wooden isle,
Complete with a thick bristly hose,
Causes un-suspected victims to run a mile.
Draping black cape and a witches hat,
Flowing freely in the midnight breeze
Prized upon a broomstick with a sleek black cat,
Soaring high with little care or eeze.
For the broomstick that reaches great heights,
May be circling your house this very night.
